Fraud & impersonation notice

Last updated: [Month YYYY]

We are aware that criminals sometimes impersonate legitimate financial firms — including their names, logos, staff and documents — to defraud the public. Please read this notice to help protect yourself.

How Atlantic will and will not contact you

Atlantic Asset Management is the trading name of Atlantic Arbitrage Ltd. Genuine correspondence from us comes only from addresses ending @atlantic.am. We will never:

— cold-call, email or message you out of the blue offering an investment, a "guaranteed" or "risk-free" return, or a limited-time opportunity;
— ask you to transfer money to a personal account, a "holding" account, or an account in a name other than a clearly identified Atlantic entity;
— request your passwords, full card details or one-time security codes;
— pressure you to act quickly, keep it secret, or bypass your own advisers or bank.

Access to Atlantic's funds and strategies is by private introduction only. If you are approached "by Atlantic" and you were not expecting it, treat it as suspicious.

Warning signs of a scam

— Slight misspellings of our name or domain (for example extra letters, or .com/.net look-alikes of atlantic.am);
— documents or "prospectuses" with cloned branding but poor grammar or inconsistent details;
— payment requests to overseas or personal accounts, or in cryptocurrency;
— a "representative" who avoids verification or refuses to be contacted through our published address.

How to verify a communication

If you receive anything claiming to be from Atlantic and you are unsure, do not reply to it or use any contact details it provides. Instead contact us directly at info@atlantic.am and we will confirm whether it is genuine.

If you think you have been targeted

Please let us know at info@atlantic.am so we can investigate and warn others. If you may have suffered financial loss or shared sensitive details, also contact your bank immediately and report it to the relevant authority in your country — for example, in the UK, Action Fraud ([telephone / URL placeholder]) and the FCA's ScamSmart service ([URL placeholder]).

DRAFT · This notice is provided for general awareness and is not legal advice. Atlantic accepts no liability for the acts of third parties who impersonate it.
